Some person asked me to email, so I do.

Now they are questioning me about how I got to where I have about the church?

Okee dokee...My Bishop may be stalking me?

You can always block their email too. I've done that once in my life.

Some people just can't be talked to. :)

I think I know who you're referring to... I saw it on another post. I just did a search of that person's user ID and saw that they have only posted twice, and the other post was also asking someone here to email them. They seem to be new.

I don't know what to say except be very, very vague and maybe not respond at all until we see more of that person around this board and get a feel for what they are like.

Makes ya wonder why you bother being nice and helpful sometimes, doesn't it?

Yeah it could be the same person.

I have nothing to hide.

But why is we have such a tough time letting people decide what they will.

one of the guidelines is no requests for email. It is better to pass addys through me if you want to contact someone and I am happy to do so. SOMEONE PLEASE USE THE REPORT BUTTON ON THE TWO POSTS WHERE SOMEONE IS DOING THIS.

or has there been

1) a large increase of new users, with a few people claiming to be high-school aged

2) more reports of church members using information that was posted on this board against the poster in real life.

all I can say is be careful about what you share.....

for a long time, I always suspect when someone comes across as writing above their education level.

then two camps occur, people who agree with me and people who strongly disagree with me.

so I stay out of those discussions now.

but the answer to your question is yes, there seems to be an upsurge in "teenagers" posting on RfM. And classes are out at YBU.

yeah I didn't come out and say it but a few of those 'teenagers' write suspiciously well for their age....

Everyone please remember to hit the report button when you see things like this. When it is a regular it is one thing but this person has only EVER posted twice, both requesting email. You gotta be careful about that, we get all kinds here. Most mean no harm but you never know.

This particular one doesn't mean harm...

But yeah I was thinking about the kids the other day, maybe we need a kid friendly section.
