Real Life, apart from Mormonism... is quite different than a lot of us know / are used to.

I refer to the continuing examples of leaders saying (para) 'It's either True or it's a Fraud' (attributed to GBH)

then, they insist that members Blindly follow their sayings, telling them they'll be blessed for doing so.

IMHO, this is one of the beginnings of either Mo Mind Control -or- Cog. Dis.

Members Know how the Real World functions, most of them deal with it Each & Every Day! Yet Mormons spend a few hours a week in church & meetings; dealing with Scouts, YW, RS & P.hood:

They'd have to be Some Kinda Dumb to not notice the difference, wouldn't they???

Guy, not meaning to offend anyone and it may be a different subject altogether. However here in the deep south, there are racial scars. Bad ones. i.e. Philadelphia, MS. Things have came a long ways, however I've seen it just in the last decade things being brought up to me, in my face and the irony is I was 3 yrs old when it took place . I didn't have a thing to do with it. (My generation didn't) and when i look back @ things on tv, books, documentation, etc. personally, i think they appeared as a bunch of "uneducated rednecks". Many were highly educated, but it appears as not.
