Hmph.

Yes, the courts can intervene. Their so-called "constitutionally-protected freedom to make decisions regarding the discipline of its students" does not give them the freedom to violate the law in doing that discipline.

They can't, for example, cut off a student's hand for "discipline." Or do anything else illegal.
