This is an edited version of McConkie's famous "The Caravan Moves On" talk.

Notes of Irony: McKookie's talk was in 1984 which cemented Orwell's book as truer than the Book of Mormon. Bruce had trouble following the teleprompter because he screwed up the main line of his entire "Caravan" talk by mixing up wheels with heels. He also replaced camels, the customary caravan livestock with oxen, the Mormon cultural icon of the emigration west to Utah.

McKookie was notorious for taking on evolution as the doctrine of the devil.

McConkie's hubris offended many TBM's at the time as well. His sister Margaret was always pissing off the sisters as she traveled and spoke and bombasted away with her husband Bill Pope, a regional rep/area seventy at the time.

Here's the original:

I got a degree in Biology from BYU, and evolution was the capstone course. They taught me how it works and how, yes, they taught us exactly how humans evolved from monkeys.

Alot of the Biology professors at BYU know that their are problems with the BOM, the church, and science. One professor of mine told the class that their were problems with the BOM and science that couldn't be resolved and other professors stated similar things.

I learned and believed a little too much-atheist with records removed.

I found out about the DNA tests that showed native Americans did not descend from Lamanites from a classmate before class started.
