All of the posts about guns and gun control are unrelated to Mormonism and are causing nothing but contention.

Let's move back to our usual themes.

Thanks,

So, we're quashing the First Amendment, to not speak about the Second Amendment?

I think this (/s) was an indication that his post was satire. I could be wrong.

You are correct. You'd think a moderator would have a clue.

The /s notation is not one I am familiar with. It could easily have been an abbreviated signature for StillAnon.

I do thank you for marking your post. Poe's Law is too powerful.

Me neither. And I was born online.

Thanks.Pretty much figured you knew that the "/s" is. In some countries is for "satire" in most of the US it's recognized as "sarcasm". Either way, I was just messing with you.

Yes, really! You can look it up on the interweb. There's this site called "google". It's really cool.

Interweb. . .

Is that single or plural?

Depends on where you live. Plural, Single or Married are kind of muddled here in Utah.

I don't provide freedom of expression in my yard or home because I own them. I don't have to invite anyone onto my property because I own it. I don't serve the public and I'm not a public institution.

The same is true of RfM.

You will follow my rules in my home or you will leave. The same is true of RfM.

Don't like it? Start your own site with your own rules.

Cheryl. I know you're versed on the internet. You seriously don't understand the "/s" tag?

I'm with Cheryl on this... I didn't know that \S or /S meant sarcasm. I had to look up FOMO and YOLO online to see what those acronyms meant.

As for debates...I am for good hearty debating here...

BUT....

I also know the rules and why this (FREE) site is here. So it is what it is...and will (try) to obey the rules.

Complaining about it is the same as being a self appointed grammar or spelling police chief for RfM.

I had to look it up folks. "/s" means sarcasm
I learned something new today. Thanks all.

Awesome! Now we can get back to discussing Atheist beliefs and their agenda, the origins of Human DNA, and whether the earth is flat or not.

/s......just in case.

And here I thought the /s meant electronic signature on the net.

It does elsewhere, depending on venue. For business transactions it has been used for signing electronically.

Lest we dare take a sarcastic moniker seriously.

No Amyjo, you're wrong. "/" indicates electronic signature. "/s" indicates sarcasm. Just because you are not informed about an issue, doesn't make the issue invalid.

Pardon him, Amyjo: he is a barbarian, and thinks that the customs of his tribe and island are the laws of nature.

As one who has spent their life being well-indoctrinated by the Church's glorious Correlation program I am very used to having my beliefs on religion, politics, and anything else dictated to me. I don't have to do any thinking for myself because the leaders do the thinking for me. I strongly request that the administrators of this forum and any others on the internet to immediately institute a policy where only approved political and religious beliefs are acceptable as it can be very much against the teachings of the Correlation program to allow people to think for themselves. When people think outside of approved channels then it can cause terrible things like Doubts to happen. Also remember that its taught that Obedience, not freethinking, is the first law of heaven.

Oh how grateful we can surely be for the glorious wondrous gospel where we can have the blessings that come from the beloved leaders micromanaging the beliefs of people.
