The last 2 days, we've had lots of senior missionaries couples staying here at the hotel where I work. Just rooms, they're going up the street for learning experiences.
Today, the annual tattoo convention is here, through Saturday. They have meetings in the hotel, not sure if they practice their art here. But it's interesting seeing the diverse people.

Be thankful it's not a dotera convention.

I was at a convention center a few years back making a presentation. There was an odd smell in the hallways.

As I searched for my conference room I overshot it few doors and as I turned the corner the stench of so many conflicting smells was overwhelming.

The folks in the conference room seemed oblivious to it.

The Doterra people come to downtown Salt Lake City yearly and after about 3 days of them being in the hotels and next door in the convention center, my eyes are just watering. It's like walking through the parfum counter at Nordstrom's, except less pleasant. I'm not the only one.

And without complaining too much, my daughter's ex-husband remarried to a woman whose entire family are into this stuff. My grandkids spend lots of weekend time with this new couple, and for a while they would come home just reeking of this oil.

She finally said something to them and apparently they've cut back the use.

I was at a hotel in Ohio once when they were having a Polka convention. A LOUD Polka convention. ALL Night.

It was interesting for about 5 minutes.

Not likely, unless they've changed the way missions get paid for. :)
