The Church is not starting to encourage people to use credit cards to pay tithing are they?

Is this not the Church that taught in the 60's and 70's to avoid debt at all costs??

And what's the point of designating which "charity"? There is no accountability, so they can put it all in the same offshore account! LOL

OK one t hing thats botherd me about the cult label of the mormon church is the time when the ritch cash in. Normaly in a cult the ritch get the cash and run at some point but so many profhets kicked the bucket. This on the other hand is ike the last drain on money they can pull before pulling a fast one.

You can't pay tithing at the site. It's directly only at "other donations", tithing is expressly excluded.

I feel better now .. for a second there I thought they were a money grubbing business acting like a church.

Making sure you pay your church is the thing that matters most?
Well, maybe to the church it is the most important thing, but I can think of 147 things more important than paying tithing to LDS,Inc. and some of those I don't even agree with!

money back. I'll bet some cash strapped schmuck is thinking this through as we speak.

Come on guys lighten up. This is a common gifting technique. I have no problem with giving using your credit card. Furthermore there are far worse places to put your money.
