This article:

is interesting because it openly states the history of the horse and the extinction occurring 7,600 years ago, and the re-introduction in the 15th and 16th centuries by the Europeans. Why does the DN print articles like this? The very first comment reflects my confusion. Maybe they're sticking with their 'tapir' horse story, and embracing science where horses are concerned.
