Why - How are GA surprised when

people they've put into positions of trust... Abuse the trust?

why do they go into DENIAL mode?


don't they know/remember that...

They've got PENTY of 'standards' for judging the rank-and-file, but...

NONE FOR judging leaders!

Besides this,there is NO accountability to the sheeple. 'NEVER admit error, much less apologize' is the principle the leaders live by.
