Facing losing the youth and reasonable people, they'll throw a bone to the women who are True Believers just to shore up their numbers and keep the whole thing running. The funny thing about big religion is that they're never on the leading edge of human rights.
"DeMuth said she and others at Tuesday's protest will urge Southern Baptists to include more women in leadership positions, create a clergy sex offender database and require all ministers and seminary students to undergo training on how to handle domestic abuse and sexual assault."
Every Mormon ward should have access to a Mormon clergy sex offender database; and ALL bishops (and those in higher positions, all the way up to AND INCLUDING the First Presidency) should be required to "undergo training on how to handle domestic abuse and sexual assault"!
Mormons figure they've got that all handled since they have 1) the almighty priesthood with powers of discernment, (ie hotline to God), 2) a hotline to church lawyers to determine the extent of legal liability (in case the hotline to God didn't work so well).
