"Mormon sex in chains"

I'm guessing the LDS church would rather not have this story dragged out of its hole again.

I remember hearing about this back in the day, but I thought it was just a tall tale. Knowing Mormons like we do, it's clear now that the missionary made up the abduction/imprisonment/rape story to cover his ass.

Well, perhaps not. The case was heavily reported in the UK press and it seems more than likely that she did pretty much what Kirk said she did. She was found guilty in absentia after she skipped bail wither her accomplice. I think they had faked passports or something.

PS She was a porn star in bondage magazines when she was younger.

She escaped with a fake passport and dressed as a nun. God, presumably, was not amused.

I do have a friend who knew her during her days at Riviera Apartments. He characterized her as "crazy as a loon."

I read the rather lurid book that was published about this case. I got the impression that Joyce McKinney was batshit crazy.
