Big news. Let's see if the church appeals.

In any case, this is further evidence that society is no longer willing to give big religions a free pass. #MeToo will topple a lot of idols.

Bishop's legal team will probably declare that the court cannot judge Bishop. Only god can judge Bishop.

All abuse and rapes are horrible but this is incredibility horrible as it happened at the MTC. Of all places you would think your children would be safe is the MTC. WOW

Their defense will be the staute of limitations ran out so there's no need to further investigate.

The S/L has already been litigated.

It bars suits based on the original crimes--several charges were thrown out--but not on the church's more recent coverup.
