If you're been arrested / convicted previously; spitting on the sidewalk, violating some stupid - inane code violation such as a broken tail light, (GASP) Speeding....
you have an "A" ticket to the top of the suspect list...

You are right. I overspoke.
This is personal to me, and I have been very concerned about what Dennis went through in his last days and hours, and I overspoke.
It's a shame that Day's friend did not offer him a place to stay after he was assaulted by the handyman. Day could have stayed there on Sunday and they both could have made a police report on Monday, perhaps saving Day's life.
It did sound like Day had a lot of variety in his life. If he could afford to pay the handyman $100 per day, as he did at one point, then he wasn't dirt poor.
I just mustered enough inner "oomph" to read them, and they are really informative. They certainly do answer a great many questions I (and everyone else who knew him) have had.
I appreciate, and am very grateful for, you posting these.
Sounds like a crime ring with one main bad guy and two women who cashed in on stealing the car and brooch. I'd guess that other items would also be missing, but there's no one with a good list of original assets to check on it.
Please let us know of further developments. How sad that this happened.
