Strange dream last night. In it I visited a sacrament meeting, which I haven’t done in real life in about twenty-five years. I was surprised the chapel was rather full, and mostly with adults. Then I noticed a lot of them were Hassidic Jews. Hmmm…

The bishop was in the middle of announcements when the Jews got up and filed out, only to be replaced by another group of Jews. And while the RS president was up there yammering about something, the second group of Jews filed out and a third group took their place.

Then I figured it out. The sacrament meeting had become a stop on Jewish bus tours. Witness exotic Mormon worship rituals!

Well, at least it has been a long time since I’ve had any dreams about being back on a mission, or arguing with Dad in the afterlife.

It's funny that you should mention that. In real life, when I had a relative die (about 20 years ago), my entire non-Mormon office came to the Mormon funeral. I did not know they were going to do that, and when they all showed up (about 20), I was amazed. Turns out they were all staunch Baptist, and knowing I was a Mormon - wanted to see a Mormon funeral more for an empirical study. They thought Mormons were bat **** crazy, and came to she the circus. I was not amused.

You should have told them they will all be assimilated after their own deaths.

Mormons should charge admission to their freak show.

If Mormons charged admission maybe that would balance the scales since many of us wouldn't go if they paid us.

They do if you want to see the whole freak show. The temple isn't free.

Just think how exciting it would be if the newly to be renovated temple square had a lobby/waiting area that mimicked a hotel lobby! Visiting non-members could learn how exciting it really is to sit in the temple's celestial room.

But they'd have to be chased out of the lobby after three minutes.
