Do you ever feel you were born (decades/generations) before your time? What I call a "throw-forward"?

You were smarter than your siblings/neighbors/classmates/church friends/etc.?
Then you got older and saw how the whole world was and now you are sure of it?
Evolution won't catch up with you in your lifetime?

I have sometimes felt that I was born a couple generations later than I should have been. Its wierd, but I have always felt very comfortable with my grandparents WW2 generation and have absolutely nothing in common with the boomers.
