I've had the notion that if you finally determine the proper respect for the mormon church, you leave it; mentally, if nothing else.
As for an opinion of what a typical mormon bishop would do with or about her...? I'm gonna guess that the typical bishop would look at her and wonder what she's like in bed. You know, the typical married mormon man dream.
Any bishop or SP who interacted with her at all would be shut down immediately by SLC.
The church wants no association with her. On the one hand, it might upset the right-wing conspiratorial nutjob faction in the LDS church--the Rowe crowd, the Snufferites, etc. On the other, it would bring greater public attention to yet another LDS scandal. The church just wants this to go away.
Several months after a conviction, when no one is watching anymore, Lori and Chad will quietly have their memberships and "blessings" canceled. But in the meantime: silence.
I'll bet SLC has already informed all the relevant church leaders that this is a third-rail issue.
Ksl wouldn't let me comment on Lori Vallow because ksl is run by Mormons. I think all the Mormons are protecting Lori Vallow because her and her husband are wealthy Mormons. If you're a rich Mormon you can do no wrong. Ksl wouldn't let me print this. They didn't like me defending the poor and homeless either.
