The second keynote speaker is Jack Monnett, an LDS historian and author of, "Awakening to our Awful Situation: Warnings from the Nephi Prophets." Monnett explores the Book of Mormon's account of "Secret Combinations" and how they infiltrated government at the highest levels, and argues such conspiracies are afoot today.

Well, the Boise organizers seem to have done a good job. They've got:
- 9/11 truthers
- a few would-be Nazis
- crazed mormons in the Cleon Skousen mold
- the Area Coordinator for the John Birch Society
- Armageddon preparedness experts (MLM scam artists)
- several persons incapable of reading comprehension when it comes to the constitution.

Now why wouldn't someone want to attend that confluence of flatulence?

They've covered all the bases.

They just love that flagwaving communistplot last-days conspiracy stuff. Great fun at the dinner table as a kid.

Don't bother to watch it unless you need a good hit of that special nausea that only a combination of "freedom" and mormonism can bring on. The production values are high. Sound quality is excellent, so you won't miss a moment of Major Crazy.

In case you don't want to watch the vido, here's a summary: How may we know the principles of liberty and freedom? God has made us free. We are not free by any other means. This assumption is followed by lots and lots of conflation of mormon prophets with constitutional law, quotes from the BoM, etc.

"The LDS Church has an advantage over other Christian Churches... it has the warnings of the Secret Combinations and the Gadianton Robbers taking over the government... in my mind that makes the LDS Church the most relevant Christian church on the planet. It requires its followers to do something about our awful situation brought on by the gadianton robbers. Most non-mormons don't have a clue about these terms in the Book of Mormon, such as in Ether 8:16.."

And in case you doubted my earlier comment about Monnett and Skousen, here's Jack and Joel Skousen carrying on about education, temporal and spiritual preparedness, etc. -- and how all this indicates that mormons should be in charge of everything.

If any of you went to the Fourth of July Parade in downtown Boise, the group that looked the most foolish and even beat the Hare Krishnas were the Boise Tea Party loons. They were singing while trying to look like a semblence of an organized group with a page of lyrics. They did not even know the words of the patriotic songs they thought they could sing???? That's Idaho for you, the one party state! Anyway, look at some of the responses under the announcement and you can see how most people think of the tea party.

Oh, any doubters, I think on sober or not so sober reflection, you will see exactly why he is truly sporting a full Brazilian. >;oD
