The first person I thought of when I read this and watched the YouTube segments was Catnip’s son. What if this technology could help him with his kidney disease and block its inheritability.
Everything can be abused, but I see this as an end to many diseases.

I think the singularity is inevitable and just a matter of time.
I just hope Dr. Doudna’s nightmare, where Hitler comes and asks her for the CRISPR technology, is never realized.
I don't think the good guys will be in charge of that technology or AI forever.
Elon Musk worries about AI being turned into weapons, when they already have. Drones are just flying AI and the government has been buying more Drones than traditional planes for the past 5 years, ever since Obama dropped a bomb from a drone every 20 minutes of his Presidency.
