We did have a Drum & Bugle corps, I was in it. We went to the Rocky III opening at the old Boyd theater. First there was a ceremony at the top of the Art museum steps with Stallone and Mr. T. I was flabbergasted at how short Stallone was, I could eat soup off his head!

ORLY? I didn’t see them until I lived in Harrisburg. A friend from Boston Latin was in one, and he still travels with a pocket trumpet.

When I was in the all district band, we played the stupid Rocky song. I suppose someone thought it was a way to connect with the yoots. What we *really* wanted was to be a jazz band. Stupid Rocky.
