I have decided to purchase a GPS tracker to put on my spouse's vehicle due to some odd behavior and stories that do not 'add up'. Can anyone recommend a good, inexpensive device? It can be a passive rather than real-time tracker, and I prefer it be less than $150. Less than $100 would be even better, of course, but I want something reliable.

Please, I do not want to get into a debate over the ethics of this, please. This is merely the cheaper equivalent of hiring a private investigator who would basically do the same thing.

Thank you.

I am also interested in something that can be put on my trailer so if it ever gets stolen again I can find it easily. Of course that would mean I need one that has the ability for me to trace it from my phone or something.

This is what I have been looking at getting - http://www.autonavdirect.com/request-2-590.html?gclid=CNWbyJS80aYCFQkSbAodekZRHg

It is a little more expensive than what you are looking for, but it also comes with a year of free tracking service.

Good luck.

Do you have personal experience with a Zoombak? I'm curious because the reviews on it absolutely SUCK.

Mr Happy, thanks so much for that info. I think that is exactly what I am looking for. I read up on it and yes, the first year of service is free and it is only $49 per year to renew the service. 4 week battery life - perfect for tracking something like my trailer if it ever gets taken again. I wouldn't mind having more than one to be truthful, that way I could hide them in my inventory and if that gets taken I could find it as well. maybe three of them would do the trick.

Yeah, from what I have looked at, it looks like a pretty good deal. I like that it doesn't have to be hardwired in and has a good battery life. This is a fairly new product, I haven't seen anything negative written about it, and Garmin usually puts out some good stuff. If I decide to purchase a tracker, this is the unit I am leaning towards getting.

tell him/her:

Tell Me the TRUTH, no B.S., No Lies.

Isn't there a fair chance you'll get the Truth?

If U love the person, TELL THEM!

if your love is conditional (I Think most are/is),
s/he will get that message.

time to 'fess up, No Doubt About It.

the Truth should surprise you, Not Lies!
