        To "ponderize" . . .

Ponderize:  To memorize a concept while deliberately choosing not to contemplate its meaning.

example: "Kate was determined to ponderize her cult leader's manifesto, fearing that actually studying it would destroy her faith."



I think that over the years I've been guilty of ponderizing a few of my 'states of being'.
