This showed up in the Wyoming Tribune Eagle. I thought some of you might get a laugh out of the article and some of the comments. No matter where you are, ignorance is always close.

It's funny to me now that "spreading hate" against the Mormon church is simply spreading what the church believes.

While I didn't like the X-tian slant on the article, doctrinally, the author didn't say anything that Mormonism DOESN'T preach.

Well, at least until now that it's out in the open and embarrassing.

My favorite reader's comments are always the ones that start out, "I am not a mormon but...." Then they always go on to say something like, "...but the mormons are wonderful people" or "...this is nothing at all like what mormons really believe." Please, as soon as I see the words, "I am not a mormon but..." I know immediately it is a mormon "lying for the Lord"

It always surprises me when Mormons dismiss ex-Mormons' opinions and tell people to go talk to the missionaries. It's as if an ex-Mormon's concerns can't be valid because they rejected the church. Seems to me that ex-Mos are the most informed about the church. Maybe that's what scares them.

One guy commented that he has yet to meet a mormon woman that did not have a college degree.

Oh my gosh, that is unbeliebable. I love it when the word spreads about Mormonism. Lies aren't needed. It is all the truth that most spread. And it is truly shocking.

There are many outrageous things in the article and in the comments that follow...not least of which is that some people still think Obama to be a Muslim. Mind boggling to me.

Also, Obama had nothing to do with the article.

And my parents want to retire in Wyoming. They should think again...
