It was at a street fair (Duvall, WA); they (males) were 'dressed' in jeans & the same t-shirts that the other volunteers had on, + goofy looking baseball style caps... driving around... seemed rather pointlessly... on (rental) Quads.
'Of Course' they always stuck together, had their name tags on.
later, they were using someone's sidewalk chalk; One was creating the image of a Temple on the sidewalk...
Why I remem the days when mish's would have had a ChurchCo booth, with religious pamphlets, maybe a GC talk playing in the back-ground... Seattle & environs USED TO BE 'missionary heaven'; lots of contacts/referrals & appointments; Now: Not So Much.
I commented to my friend that getting out of their uni's (shirt & tie) must have made this a Great Day for them! Friend said: "Yeah, they're trying (!) to blend in"
New missionary Mantra: ANYTHING EXCEPT TRACTING!
Good Times!
