Waddell is a counselor from the Presiding Bishopric who went on 60 minutes TV to defend the church's obscene accumulation of cash that the church proudly hoards. His talk criticizes members who are hero worshipping of politicians, bloggers, influencers, athletes or musicians.

Just a bunch of hypocrites from a group of men who never sacrifice go without. Yes, members sacrifice to give money, but not from the top leaders. They ought to be ashamed of themselves, but their 2nd Annointing prevents them to feel sorry for any of their crimes and sins.

- Choosing the “right” hero, he said, “has eternal consequences.”

Yes, everyone should worship Ensign Peak and their ability to make billions.

You would think the members could connect the dots when it comes to hero worship of their leaders.

About 20 years ago Waddell was my stake president. He called a special youth meeting for youth and their fathers to attend. He was such a narrow minded abusive pinhead, after his big speech my oldest son declared he was done with the Church. This gave me and my youngest son a chance to tell my we were done too. Thank you Pres. Waddell.
