O/T AI used to translate ancient Roman scrolls

Ancient scrolls that were carbonized in the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in 79 A.D. have been partially translated with the aid of AI. The document is one of the more than 800 scrolls known as the Herculaneum papyri that have heretofore been inaccessible to scholars because they were too fragile to handle.
