Phrixus and Helle flew over the straits that separate Europe from Asia on a golden ram sent by the god Apollo. Phrixus' sister Helle lost her grip and fell into the sea that now bears her name -- the Hellespont. The siblings may have mythological, but the frescoes are not. Too bad Mormon archeologists can't find any art from the ancient non-existent civilization in ancient America they believe to exist -- but they are doomed forever to keep looking...and looking...and looking...

Archaeologists have uncovered another breathtaking treasure at the site of the ancient Roman city of Pompeii, a fresco of the Greek mythological figures Phrixus and Helle at a domus near to the House of Leda and the Swan.
"History has repeated," said it, Gabriel Zuchtriegel, the director of the Pompeii Archaeological Park, as he gave an update on excavation and restoration work.
"It is a beautiful cool in an excellent state of conservation.
"The myth of Phrixus and Helle is alllated at Pompeii but it is topical too.
"They are two refugees at sea, a brother and sister, forced to flee because their stepmother want rid of them and she has so with deception and corruption.
"She (Helle) fell into the water and drowned.

In the fresh her face is covered by waves, she is about to drown and is reaching out with her hand to her brother.
"It's a beautiful work for its colours, liveliness and execution. execution.
"We hope to make these two or three houses accessible (to the public) soon."

Nephites and Lamanites spent their free time in the gym, not the art studio.

Is there a swimming pool there?

If Yes > Do they allow nude swimming as in the now demolished Deseret Gym? Ah, those were the good old days!!

Their hot tubs have been mistaken for baptismal fonts.

Judging from illustrations in the BoM, their need for kettlebells and other weights drove the ancient Native American steelmaking industry. If you go to the rez today, you'll see things have obviously changed.

Lehi was like The Professor on "Gilligan's Island". He could make a steel foundry out of vines and coconuts.
