Buy a cheap all steel sword. Cut 100% cotton cloth into two inch strips and wrap strips tightly around blade. Soak the cloth on the blade with kerosene or paraffin oil. Put on a welding glove and hold sword by the handle. Light the cloth on the blade. You now have a flaming sword in your hand.
There are many things I'd like to do to a few people in my life, but I probably wouldn't. After all, I just keep letting them hang out in my life- "the ex." At least he has learned something over the years and helps his kids and even me!

Did anyone who heard Joseph Smith's explanation wonder why no bodies had ever turned up with wounds from a flaming sword?
This is one more example of Mormons believing that something that has never happened before, to anyone's knowledge, could happen because some guy with delusions of grandeur said it would happen or did happen. You just have to take his word for it
Often the reason something has never happened is sheer impossibility. Mormons be like "But god...".

Here's a cool thing about a flaming sword: If it was used to cut off your head, the heat would cauterize the two wounds, both at the shoulder and the neck, so you wouldn't bleed out!!!
