No, EOD, I certainly did not. When RUSTY visited Raymond with his ol' lady a couple years back I wondered if Raymond's "TEMPLE HILL" would finally get it's temple. But I it was a surprise when Lethbridge got the nod.
on I guess fb. I don't know where else I would have seen it. It is a lot different than any I've seen unless they haven't built the parts that stick out on both sides.
And yet, not much attendance at temples. I wonder why.
I had someone claim recently on X (FKA Twitter) that temple attendance is up 500% this year. When I asked him for evidence to back that claim, the conversation quickly went downhill.
I saw one rendering a few years ago that had Moroni on top, but I don't recall where it was going to be. I was a little surprised.
The rumor mill has it that Moroni will be replaced by JC on the SLC Temple. BTW, I walked through Temple Square yesterday. All the work on the east block (COB, JS Building, Lion House), and most of the Main Street Plaza (formerly Main Street) is done and they are open to the public again.
The temple looks pretty gutted. Outer doors and windows removed, and a deep trench (30 or 40 feet deep) around the temple itself.
