It would be great to make all large imposing temples in a "temple park" zone. Yes they would still be ugly, but when required to be build right next to each other it would reduce the impact.

I'm referring to Hindu temples, Chaldean temples, Muslim temples etc.

Temples should be put on ley lines or power points where ley lines cross. I doubt even a single Mormon temple is built in one of these spots.

Zoning commissions don't take into account such considerations. They ignore migration paths and habitats of insects and wildlife. They are like 15th century Spaniards coming to America: "This shit is ours now".

I've lived in planned cities outside the US that had church zones. Basically, want to build a church? Build in this part of town.

England already has one of those: East Grinstead! The Scientologists are a short distance away from the London temple. (Which is not a short distance from London.)

Muslims don't have temples. Hindus have interesting looking ones.
