As a newcomer to the board, I don't know if others have discussed this site. It is a place where you can add a pin to a map with an explanation of why you left the LDS Church. This is an interesting map. I went to areas I'd lived in and yes, there were pins.

It looks like I left a pin, but I forgot about it.
My reasons for leaving are far too complicated to explain there, so I simply said “the Book of Mormon,” because that’s what got me started on my journey out.

I love whoever put Laman's story in the middle of the Atlantic ocean!

I’m surprised I haven’t heard of this map before. It’s been around for ten or fifteen years, as best I can tell. The year on submission dates is very hard to read for some reason.

Utah is too thick with pins to really look at. Kind of fun to look at outlying areas where I have lived or know people, to see if anyone has jumped ship.

I am pleased to see pins in the nearby Moridor. Plenty in Raymond, Magrath and Cardston.

I placed one in Texas that I didn't believe in prophets the other day and now it's gone from where I placed it

I found two pins in my town, and upon reading the messages, I realized that one of them was placed by me back in 2017. I had forgotten about it completely. The internet really is forever I guess…

Someone put a pin on the church building for the ward that I grew up in.

I had a lot of trouble moving the map away from the Salt Lake region due to glitches on the site. When I looked at my local area, many of the pins read as if they'd been written by the same people. I speak to many exmos, and in many cases, history is not the mai reason they leave... as this website suggests.
