Hinkley denied being a prophet, denied basic church doctrine, and basically betrayed the entire church membership on international television.

Rusty, now proclaims himself a "global faith leader".

A power grab without having to say he talks with God.

Global faith leader is a demotion. It only means that he is one of a group of trusted religious leaders who will endorse and promote globalist aims. Look out for buzzwords like resilience, sustainability and stakeholder in the near future.

I think all of them were painfully aware that GBH royally botched his interview. He really looked foolish and proved it by lying and denying the basic doctrines of the church.

Maybe they're afraid of becoming televangelists. Isn't it supposed to be their job?
