I think loyalty to the LDS Church is no different than being loyal to a brand. Brands can change owners, management teams, production teams, place of manufacture, ect… A brand can completely change but yet people stay loyal to it because it’s what they grew up with and there’s nolstalgia and heritage associated with it. People continue to buy the brand even if the product has completely changed and the company does not resemble what was at all. Basically the church leadership gi continue with this brand because your parents and grandparents loved this brand. Don’t break tradition and buy something else.
