It's currently to heavy, to overbearing, to stale. Well, mostly, to much of a lie.

The internet is slowly chipping away at its armor and image.

I suppose the new all Jesus all the time schtick is probably an attempt to shed some of the weird Joseph Smith baggage, i.e., a tiny bit of a reformation.

It was conceived as, and always will be, a scam.

Mormonism is only a "faith" because it has believers. It's more of a tribal designation than a religion. The actual teachings of the "religion" don't matter as much.

Modern Mormonism exists only for the sole purpose of providing a tax shield and perpetual investment income for LD$, Inc.

"Jesus" is big business now. Take a look at the all of the ads and billboards for new churches like new 1990s era shopping malls competing for customers.

The Nat-C Evangelicals are making a bid for power and the Mormon Brethren want a seat on the board. None of the religious control laws that keep popping up are created spontaneously. They are designed, planned, and paid for by well funded and organized groups. That's power.

It was a scam from the beginning
It was a dodge then and ever shall be
Fraud without end
Amen, Amen

I'm guessing their army of lawyers, investment advisors, PR and business administrators surpasses the people responsible for the actual teachings of the church.

Funny how "God" helps them make investment decisions without equivocation but can't seem to make the doctrine less asinine.

Mormonism is a religion custom-made for scammers. That's why Utah is scam central station. Scamming in the name of God is a virtue, dontcha know?

Religion was how the West was one. There were just too many Injuns and settlers needed land. You know, like in Israel. Why feel conflicted about the means when Religion will fix that up for you?

The scammed become the scammers. Religious freedom means the cycle continues. You can't fix Mormonism. It just is what it is.

What’s holding the church back from reforming is the leaders don’t want to give up their status of being prophets, seers and revelators.

The church would be fine if it slowly reformed. It would still retain enough members to still be a 501C3.

If ChurchCo 'forgets' what there focus is now, > more focus on Christ-Like living, basics, core (Honesty, Kindness, Repentance & Forgiving) Christianity, what will be their selling point, their appeal to convert people, retain membership in their highly demanding 'gospel'?

Answer: Very Little
