They were silk boxers I was wearing. It makes me mad cause it's coming from somebody who can't even choose what kind of underwear he wears. If it were somebody who wasn't mormon i'd probably just laugh about how i wear them.

"Well, you might poke fun at my underwear but the WHOLE WORLD laughs at yours."

"Yeah, at least I don't have a gaggle of geriatrics in SLC telling me to wear a modified 19th century union suit."

"Really? No church makes a profit off my underwear."

"My underwear was featured in GQ. Yours?"

you have to admit that silk boxers sort of have a 90's pornstar vibe going on with them... though I bet they feel awesome!
I agree that he is probably just jealous... or at least I know I was always jealous of my girl friends who could still wear stuff from Victoria's Secret.
I always thought working there right after high school was the reason why I hated garments so much. I had "lived like the world" for too long lol. Now I'm super excited to use all the coupons they've been sending me :D

"you have to admit that silk boxers sort of have a 90's pornstar vibe going on with them... "

and even so they would still be far preferable to POS Mormon temple garments, as would everything else this side of burlap underwear.

boxer briefs are where it's at.

I've never worn garments but I was once tempted to try on my dad's but overcame the temptation.

Was that you Stan? Well you're cooler than your brother but I still don't believe in you. A real devil would have made me wear my mother's garmies. And you never even tried to tempt me to do that.

I don't know about a porn star element but silk boxers sound sexy as hell. One of my guy friends leaned over the other day and you could see he was wearing simple plaid boxers. I wished so badly my TBM DH wore them. Those garments are 94 different kinds of ugly, especially since my DH literally wears them threadbare because he's trying to save himself a trip to the temple clothing store.

Oh gross, I'm so sorry! I'm permanently scarred with images of my parents wearing their threadbare stained garments (and nothing else) around the house when I was a kid.

My husband and I wore ours for less than 2 months before we ditched the whole thing. It was SUCH a turnoff.

At least you don't have to cut any little symbols out of your underwear, and you can wear shorts that do not go to your knee! I agree that he was just jealous.

Say, "Are you kidding me? Look at your own underwear before you decide to laugh at mine! What a joke!"

he's jealous. my gal pals and i were out to dinner one evening, we were waiting for a table & a bunch of prom couples showed up. many of the girls had lovely gowns on, all of them strapless and very fitted. my BFF started in on, "wow she looks like a slut" etc half-heartedly but in her eyes you could see she LOVED the gowns and wanted sooo badly to wear one.

Have you ever heard of the saying "the pot calling the kettle black"?

I would just simply wear them on my head when I go out with the man. AND each person we met I would simply say, if you think my underware is funny look at my friends.
