1- Still waiting for the hospital person to call me, but I've actually received very sound legal advice not to talk to them directly until I've sorted out whether I want to sue (which is likely)
2- I had my MRI last Thursday. My spine doc sent referrals to 2 neurosurgeons, I'm just waiting for them to call me to set up appointments.
Mike, if you need someone to talk at, let me know. You know how to reach me.
As far as the cheese - how about a toasted cheese sandwich with, let's see: Gouda, Havarti, three different types of cheddar, Mozarella, Provolone, Stilton,
The doctor who treated you sounds like a quack, if not a creep.
Sorry you had to go through that.
Anyway, I echo the suggestions made here about the ultimate cheese sandwich. I agree that adding bacon to mix is good, along with some fresh tomato slices.
A couple of other cheesey treats: a quesadilla, made with a flour tortilla, tons of grated chedder, some mild green chiles and a dollop of sour cream. Muy bueno, my friend! And there's always Rotel dip, made with a lb. of Velveeta and a can of Rotel brand tomatoes and chiles, served with tortilla chips. Pretty lowbrow, but mmm-mmm-good, IMHO.
Anyway, get your favorite cheese concoction, dive into it, and ENJOY!
Happy eating!

Try the non-fat cheese "product." Read the labels carefully, you absolutely want "NON-FAT." Ain't gonna get the same twang you get from "real" cheese, but it still has that springy-type texture, melts with no puddles of grease, and it is actually easier to clean off the dishes!
Grilled cheese with crispy bacon & 3-yr old aged Cheddar. An artery-clogging gastronomic delight.
If you like cheese popcorn, the best I've ever had is Popcorn Indiana's aged cheddar. Comes in a red bag and WalMart has it. I consider the big bag a single serving ;-)
