That is SICK SICK SICK! I would be ill if my daughter ended up in a situation so degrading to a woman's power of self-determination. I'm teaching my daughter to think, make decisions, and determine her own path, not be a freakin' MILK COW in a HERD~! How 19th century!

Good for you. I'm trying to raise my daughter to think for herslef and to know there's more to life than just nabbing an RM, going to the temple to marry him and popping out babies galore.

I see no difference. Both show a herd of cows living in a closed-off area and in filth (and not knowing it)...plus these ladies are also color coded to show ownership.

That being said . . . they are all really, really beautiful young women. Jeffs obviously picked the "choice" spirits for himself. I remember all that footage of the original raid in the Texas compound. There were some fugly looking old women in that bunch!

That is a rather disturbing photo. The number itself is insane, but putting faces on it takes it to a whole new level of creepiness. And Joseph had more wives than that! Same ages and (odds are pretty good) same hairstyles.

I still have the National Geographic issue with polygamy as the cover story; it makes out that all these ladies are happy, with cars and cell phones, but what do they know of the outside world anymore, really?

Yep I was looking through the group trying to pick out the little'uns he was most likely boinking the most frequently. Hard to tell though with that ugly hair style - must hold up well under stress. Gotta say though, they were all smiling. Maybe they heard Jeffs was outta town.

What is it, fifty women in that photo? I wonder how many young men had to be run off the compound and denied homes so that greedy Warren could have all those women.
