There is 20th Century precident for sending 'em out to "the field" younger and married

I looked but couldn't find the proof, but I was told by my father that his first cousin Edwin Firmage, the esteemed law prof of the U of U, was eighteen and married to his high school sweetheart when he was sent out to harvest souls for God.

Back then it was probably Ed's grandpa's blessing that got his exception but I could see that happening today. Two birds (married and mission) with one stone. You get a temple marriage, a sexual furlough and off you go!!!!!
