When I went to high school in SLC, I knew only a handful of classmates who weren't LDS. (There were probably more, but I didn't know them.) So when I saw photos of a class barbecue on Facebook, and saw how many of them were holding beer, it did my heart good. It might not be that a bunch of Mormon kids grew up to abandon the church, but at least the still-practicing Mormons in the group didn't ban alcohol.

Which high school?

A little cocktail party/burger fest hosted by the class president (who lives out of state). The TBM's took over our class reunion, and attendance was way, way down...

I usually just called it skumline. Don't know why, it was actually a pretty good school.

Class of '79 here.

My only excuse is I was born that way... In both cases...

I went to Granite. Unfortunately, they've 'decommissioned' it now - it's no longer in existence.

I was doing some recruiting for this site last night, but both of them just said they felt it best to let the anger stay where they buried it. That's always a legitimate choice...
