Since we all love (right?) Stake President Pasternoster, it only serves to understand the hidden meaning of his secret name.

Possible definitions:

1.One of the large beads on a rosary on which the Lord's Prayer is said.
2.A sequence of words spoken as a prayer or a magic formula.
3.A weighted fishing line having several jointed attachments for hooks connected by beadlike swivels.
4.An elevator constructed of a series of doorless compartments hung on chains that move slowly and continuously, allowing passengers to step on and off at will.

Wow. Any one of these could apply in Mo-ism.

Which one do YOU think is most applicable and why?

I'll go first.

I vote for #2. 2 Words: Joseph Smith.

That or it's Latin for "our father."
