How bad do the skidmarks on garments have to get before...

...it's OK to cut 'em up?

They lose their bullet proofing capabilities after seven washes. So I would change them after the seventh wash to hedge my bet.

Gah! I don't know about skid marks, but my recent RM son has....

....some nasty, grey, ugly, worn out Jesus Jamies that are just embarrassing. He's a poor kid who can't afford to buy new ones and I'm sure as hell not giving any more money to the cult. I guess his mother will have to step up or he'll just keep wearing those ugly old rags.
