Do you think the GA's and TBM's actually sublimate sexual desires?

Oh, no, another thing I was thinking about last night..then--whammo! that thread about the Big O reminded me......it must be fate.
Anyway, do you think there is a physiological tipping point where something flips in the brain and your sex drive gets sublimated to other things? (Sidebar) The other thread mentioned intimacy and the lack of it if sex is only for procreation, but if you can't feel intimacy WITHOUT sex involved that seems kind of sad.
It sounds more buddhist than mormon, but I suppose that there are those that can channel the primal urges into other things artistic, spiritual, creative. OTOH, if you're too damn busy all the time, you only have time for a quick procreation hump, and then it's back to work.
