You're going to love this, I think. Please keep us posted as rehearsals continue and as the play goes up.

IT'S ALL ABOUT THE APPLAUSE!

BREAK-A-LEG!

PS. If you don't mind, here's a tip - my technique for learning lines. First, I read through the play several times doing my best to memorize my lines. Then, I have a small, hand-held tape recorder. I read the line just before mine (the cue line) then leave a space of time about as long as my line would be. After I've done the entire play like that, cue line then pause, I replay the tape over and over until I remember all my lines and can fit them into the pauses between cue lines. That may not work for you but I've found it helps me a lot.

Okay, Hollywood, here comes our next big star. Move over Brad, Move over Angelina. You are being replaced.
Wish you the best in your role. I'm sure you'll do good.

It sounds like it might be an adaptation of the 1921 play "Six characters in search of an author" by Italian writer Luigi Pirandello.

If so, the original is a great play - I know it well because one of my BILs is a professional actor who acted in it in Paris in the 1980s, so I got to see it several times and loved it.

Enjoy!

Tom
