Kirby's take one Mitch Mayne

For those of you 99% of the population that no longer take newspapers, here is Kirby's take on Mitch Mayne.

I like Mitch, although I only know him from Facebook. He's the kind of guy I would have wanted to have dated when I was just a tad younger and more enamored with Mormonism.

I'm torn regarding my feelings about Mitch. If the church is moving in a more inclusive direction, that's a good thing. Alternatively, I can't help but believe that we were all told lies and Mitch is following a cult. How good a thing can that be?

Mitch probably no interest in the electric shock therapy, following students from BYU to gay clubs in SLC, excommunicating AIDS patients, Evergreen, The Miracle of Forgiveness... I could go on.

Kirby said it better than I ever could: It’s like they didn’t learn a single thing from the horrible way we’ve treated them.
