We're on Christianity now. And this mormon guy has to keep telling the class he's mormon. We're going on a field trip to a Christian church that has a pool table. The mormon kid tells the whole class we could just play pool at the institute. Then he kept saying he has the picture of jesus in the red robe that all mormons have. So much for being humble like Jesus.

Maybe you should tell him!

Looks like someone needs their bubble burst. What business does a naive Mormon kid have in a World Religions class anyway?

I hate that corporate painting of Jesus -- he looks like a prick. I only keep it on the wall to keep the peace. Does anyone have another suggestion for a Jesus picture (I'm not a christian, but like a Jesus over the mantel)?

I once took a world religions class and told some acquaintances of mine at a stake function. As I was walking away, one of them yelled out to me "don't forget which church is true!"

I rolled my eyes and walked on. I couldn't believe what I just heard.

By the way, it was one of the best classes I ever took.
