o/t Anyone know of a very cheap but good hotel in central Brum or at the airport, please?

This would be for this coming Sunday night.

This all expenses paid trip is becoming less all expenses by the day. ;o))

The centre of Birmingham, it is known as Brum to as it's inhabitants. :o))

I might need to stay over night near Birmingham airport before I start my trip to California.

I live in Birmingham...

Alabama that is. I don't hear it called "Brum" around here but maybe I can start the trend.

Hi Matt. I believe there's a Holiday Inn or Travelodge near most UK hotels - they are quite cheap

It might be worth checking online. Some hotels though offer a taxi service to the airport itself if they are a little further out. They do this to catch more trade.
