Dr. Greg Smith, physician in Raymond Canada, and ameteur apologist.
He wrote an article, perhaps a Joseph Smith ot Book of Mormon article--I'm thinking it was regarding polygamy?

Anyway, in the article, Dr Smith mentions that he is a physician, and therefore bases his judgments on the evidence, as physicians/physical scientists are wont to do.
But then he says the first step in his research process was to pray and promise God that he would not change his views on [Joseph, BoM, Plyg, whatever it was] regardless of the evidence.
It almost sounded like a parody.
1. I base my judgments on evidence, but
2. I won't base my judgment on evidence

Anybody remember this essay? Got a link to it?
