Let's have a temple name shout out

For the newbies: we would appreciate the temple and date to show that everyone had the same name at that temple the same day. Thanks for your participation.

Mine was Mosiah, the ex was eve, Seattle, May 25, 1988

You can call me Sam...

My brother and I went through on the same day. It was funny because when we were meeting with the temple pres, after the washing and anointing he says, "Hey, I know what your name is." My dad growled at him. It seemed so arbitrary that your name would be based on the date you went through the temple that I never felt like it had much meaning. Just like the rest of the ceremony felt empty and meaningless I guess.

Gideon was mine too!

The temple worker who told me what it was said it would be easy to remember, "Just think of the Gideon Bible"... He then mentioned that if I forgot it during the session, that someone could remind me... At the time I thought that was weird, weren't these inspired names that only I would know? Then, in the MTC, we did a couple of sessions a day and I wondered how they coordinated a temple name between the people who did the washing and the people who did the endowment... I quickly realized that when I did two in a day, they both had the same name... Strange how that worked out... Not as inspired as I thought...
