SLC among the "smartest cities"

Travel & Leisure magazine listed "the 20 cities that visitors and residents find most intelligent." SLC is #6, behind Portland, Seattle, Minneapolis-St. Paul, DC and Austin, and ahead of San Francisco, Savannah, Charleston and Denver.

Obviously, they didn't factor in gullibility.

Mormons are actually a minority in SLC

SLC is about 30% Mormon. Our SLC neighborhood is about 90% non-Mormon and very educated. So ya, I buy that SLC is a "smart".

I doubt that the survey would list Provo as a smart city using the same criteria.
