I've enjoyed this board immensely for the past 7 years. I've laughed with you, cried with you, anguished and sorrowed with so many. But it's time for me to let mormonism go. As long as I'm here I'm constantly unsettled by the cult and their foolish behavior. If I'm going to find any peace I cannot live with the shadow of the cult hanging around me. Unfortunately keeping up with the board establishes that shadow for me and it's time to let it go.
I cannot go without saying THANK YOU to so many of you whom I've adored for so long. Cr@ig, Steve, Stray, Tim, Cheryl, WCG, Primis, Suzie 1,2,3, Eric and etc... thank you for enlightenment, joy, a good laugh, reflection, honesty and the kind of fellowship that makes life just that much nicer.
For those of you that are in the middle of the "crisis" of leaving remember that some day the sun will shine, the clouds will part and it won't be Jebus you'll see. It'll be a happy you.
If anything is clear to me at 59 years old it's this. If you're not smiling, you're not doing it right.

Wish people wouldn't do that. Long-time poster NormaRae, who influenced my own departure from the Morg, recently left for good. I have the sinking feeling that she was pushed over the edge by me. Whatever the case, it's hard to see an old familiar poster quit the fold, as it were. Can we hope that you will check back in from time to time?
