The inspiring power of priesthood bwessings!

My little brother just got pheumonia, but a relatively mild case, his white blood cell counts weren't near fatal levels thank google. After he was moved from the emergency room to the ICU, he recieved a priesthood blessing to help him get better. My question is, why didnt you give him the blessing while he was in the emergency room, instead give him one after he starts to recover due to medicine. I then start hearing my family spout out shit like, thankfully we have worthy priesthood holders who can heal family members. I think i just threw up a little =/
